Q. What is a Village?
A. Villages are a community-based way to organize neighbors caring for neighbors. We help to connect members to a variety of support services and social connections through local non-profits and community organizations, as well as support from volunteers. This in turn helps our community members to age successfully in their homes and community.
Q. What types of services do volunteers provide?
A. Volunteers help to provide free support to members including help with small errands, friendly visits, light gardening, home repair, organizing, grocery pick up and more.
Q. What does being a member include?
A. Members are individuals who receive the benefits of Village membership, which include access to a variety of supportive services, educational and recreational programs, community events, and opportunities for social engagement. Members must reside in or work in the 44120-zip code. At this time, there is no fee for being a member.
